Budapest, July 12, 2024 - The National Election Commission (NEC) has established the result of the election of the Mayor of Budapest by its decision No. 422/2024 at its meeting today, based on the decision of the Curia No. Kvk.VI.39.204/2024/2, after the recount of the valid votes.
The NEC, with the assistance of the local election offices of the capital districts, carried out the review and recount of the votes between 9-11 July 2024. The recount was conducted in public and in the presence of observers appointed by the candidates for mayor.
