Parliamentary elections
Voting at another polling district: in parliamentary elections, you can cast your vote at any designated polling district, in any freely elected municipality in the country by submitting an application for absentee voting online or on paper, in person or by proxy at any local election office.
Voting at foreign representations: you may request to be entered in the electoral roll of foreign representations if you wish to cast your vote at one of the designated Hungarian Embassies or Consulates abroad.
Parliamentary by-elections
Voting at another polling district: within the parliamentary single-member constituency concerned in the by-election, you may cast your vote at any designated polling district of any freely elected settlement by submitting an application for absentee voting online or on paper, in person or by proxy at any local election office.
You can do this after the election is called, between -66 and -9 days before the election day.
Local and national minority elections
Voting at the place of residence: you can vote in municipal elections at your place of residence if you have established a place of residence at least 30 days before the election and it is still valid on election day. You can apply online and on paper in person or by proxy at any local election office.

Please note that elections for local government representatives and mayors, as well as elections for national minority self-governments, do not include the possibility of voting at a foreign representation.
Elections to the European Parliament
Voting at another polling station: you can cast your vote in the Elections to the European Parliament at a designated polling station in any freely elected municipality in the country by submitting a n application for absentee voting online or on paper in person or by proxy at any local election office.
Voting at foreign representations: you may request to be entered in the designated electoral roll of foreign representations if you wish to cast your vote at one of the Hungarian Embassies or Consulates abroad.
Voting for candidates in your country of residence abroad: if you wish to vote for candidates in your country of residence abroad instead of on party lists in Hungary, you can request to be entered on the electoral roll of the EU country in question, in accordance with the laws of the host country. In this case, the National Election Office will remove you from the Hungarian electoral roll on the basis of a request from the electoral body of the other EU country, thus excluding the possibility of double voting.

I do not have a Hungarian address
As a Hungarian citizen living abroad, you may - after registering to vote - cast your vote in parliamentary general elections, in national referendums and - if you do not have an address in another Member State of the European Union - in the Elections to the European Parliament, as described in the postal voting package sent to you.
