On February 20, 2025, the scientific conference titled "Current Issues in Electoral Law and Administration" was held at the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace, organized by the Lőrincz Lajos Public Law Research Workshop of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church (KRE). The event featured presentations by staff members of the National Election Office (NEO) as well.

The NEC has set the date for the by-election in Budapest’s 11th parliamentary single-member constituency
According to the decision of the National Election Commission, the parliamentary by-elections will be held on 23 March 2025 in the 11th parliamentary single-member constituency of Budapest. The by-election was necessitated by the termination of the parliamentary mandate of László Varju.
