Municipal elections were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 6 October 2024, and the National Election Office was involved in observing the elections. The purpose of election observation is to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.

The NEC has set the date for the by-election in Budapest’s 11th parliamentary single-member constituency
According to the decision of the National Election Commission, the parliamentary by-elections will be held on 23 March 2025 in the 11th parliamentary single-member constituency of Budapest. The by-election was necessitated by the termination of the parliamentary mandate of László Varju.

The Presidents of the NEO and the NEC submitted their presidential reports to Parliament
Today, Dr. Róbert Sasvári, President of the National Election Commission and Dr. Attila Nagy, President of the National Election Office submitted their report on the activities related to the election of the Members of the European Parliament, the local government representatives and mayors, as well as the representatives of the national minority self-governments held on 9 June 2024 in a joint procedure.
